Rethink Cancer in the Workplace

Cancer in the workplace can be a daunting issue affecting everyone involved. Time taken off
work for treatment and recovery can be an encumbrance on any organisation, not to mention the difficulties faced by the individual.

To help navigate this challenging issue, it is important to know the rights and responsibilities
concerning the employer as well as the employees. This is why Campaigning for Cancer has developed the Cancer@Work programme, a comprehensive cancer initiative focussed on educating people within the workplace.

Cancer@Work
offers a wide range of specialised services to help navigate the difficulties of cancer in the workplace. This includes advocacy support for employees affected by cancer, a workshop for employees, a cancer survey, a Cancer@Work guide as well as a cancer workplace charter and policy template. Also included is an information session with the employer.
