Dr Adam Nosworthy of Johannesburg was appointed chairperson of the SAOC URC (responsible for clinical guidelines and peer review)as from 2 April 2009. Dr Nosworthy will appoint a team of oncologists to assist him in the upcoming review of the oncology treatment guidelines.
