With the recent restructuring of the URC the bi-annual review of the SAOC treatment guidelines will now also become the responsibility of a team of 20 dedicated URC officials appointed to introduce a more "permanent" component to the URC review set-up and to ensure continuity in the activities of the infrastructure.
Sub-Committees include radiation therapy, haematology, chemotherapy-breast cancer, chemotherapy-cancers of the airways and gastro-intestinal tract and finally chemotherapy-cancers of the genito-urinary tract, gynaecological system and all cancers not included in the previous committees.
